Small Computer Desk

What computer would work best for a small business a laptop or desk top? Also what brand is a good brand?

Im agonising over trying to get a decent desk and cant seem to find one im happy with for a smaller room. any tips on finding a good desk and maximising space?

I am looking to buy a nice computer desk hopefully at a black friday sale nothing big. The tower is pretty small maybe 18 inches tall 24 inches deep, 22inch flat screen and a wireless printer. Also my wife wanted an ipod nano or even a touch. Does anyone know of anystores having these on sale for black friday. If you could please tell me the store and the price if possible. my husband (his step dad) got him a small laptop, and im thinking of buying him a small computer desk for his room, he is a smart child, and instead of buying lots of toys which his bio dad already got him, i thought this would be ok at myhouse? what do you guys think?
it wont have internet, just programs and games.

(i really want a small desk like this for my room but im just going to use it as a desk im not going to have a computer on it but if i dont attach the wheels will it be sturdy enough?

Hello, I am a spider phobe and I noticed there are too many spiders around my house lately. Spiders I have never seen before that are HUGE!! I have 4 cat faced spiders, thanks to the yahoo questions ppl who helped identify it for me, and now I have big white flower spiders. I never had a probelm with spiders before and they petrify me! My little gate in front of my house has thick webs all over it with those cat faced spiders everywhere…im finding small baby ones in my window above my computer desk, thank god they are on the outside. Why are there so many spiders? What can I do?

i have a patio in the back of the room and only two available walls i got the furniture i have a twin sized bed tall white shelf for things that would ordinarily go on i a dresser and for dvds,books,cd’s etc…then i have wall shelves a tv and a computer desk how can i arrange all this? im going for a minimalist style you know something that will leave ALOT of space and that will make my room look like it only has a few things in it

Yes, this is about roaches. I have used boric acid quite successfully around the kitchen and bathrooms. However, I see small ones frequently crawling in and out of my computer keyboard and monitor base, scurrying across the computer desk. What are the risks if I sprinkle some boric acid into the keyboard and vents of the monitor? Does it eat away at the circuit board and electronic components? Or is it pretty much harmless except to the bugs?

I am a young middle schooler, trying to add some flair and entertainment to my room. I have light green walls (except the walk in closet door which is white), elegant white furniture which includes my QUEEN bed, my white small desk with my laptop and study materials, and big white book case, which I plan to put my televison in. I have nice pink accents, such as pink bedding (with white polka dots) and more extra designs. I have excellent, expensive, and new hard wood flooring. It is a positive area, which I like. My dad says he will get me a television, no problem. But I want to earn the television myself. But the problem is I have no idea, whatsoever what kind and how much will this televison cost? I am looking for a range of 50$ to 150$… Either black or white. Flat screened and quite small actually – like a desktop computer moniter. Some one took my small laptop off my desk when I was at lunch.. It is a big, big office so I wouldn’t know who stole it. Some told me there was an article in the paper recently that explains how you can track down who stole your computer by using another computer to do the search…Is this possible?

My kittens are 3.7 weeks old, close to 4 weeks. They all try to get under my desk, i check there is room, and they are small enough to get there. The momma cat hates it so much, i can tell. I do not like it because i cant see them. Please no answer of getting them fix, they are only a few weeks old. The momma is getting fix when she finish her job of caring for them.

The wall color is baige and the theme (main color of pieces) is silver and light wood. I do need a small desk for a computer,printer, school supplies. I would like a new light fixture, photoframes, all in one desk organizer,Cd/ipod player, And a corkboard. if any one has any ideas where i can/should get these things, pics or suggestions PLEASE tell, thanks. When the fan is on and positioned close to the monitor the monitor becomes unstable.
When I pull the fan away to a point the instability lessens I have to share the computer desk with both
monitor and CPU. No space to do it any other way.
Can the fan not only be causing a distortion of the CRT monitor but be also causing damage to the computer and or monitor over time or should I just take the computer to the Good Will and save up for several months to buy a quieter, newer not so much better but computer that will let me get faster performance without using a fan or have you known anyone who uses a fan that blows either into or out from the CPU with it’s side panel removed to keep it from over heating even though they did the best they could to remove much of the dust from the CPU and CPU fans?

Well about a month in a half ago there was this HUGE spider that came on to my computer desk. (black/brown) & it RAN straight at me!!! EW!!!! i freaked out & screamed. I dont have the courage to kill spiders because im afraid theyll jump on me.

Anyways. I left the computer room and went to my room. The next day thinking it was gone… It showed up on the computer desk again! EW!!

so I got the balls to smush it with a deck of cards.Yea i know YUCK. (im a girl. i dont really have balls. lol)

So yesterday there was a smaller one who came across my computer desk! EW!

so again, i went out of the room. & the next day it crawled back on my desk, like 20 mins ago. Im too scared to kill it. it went away somewhere and im terrified..the thing was jumping!
& i dont wanna ask my mom to kill it.cuz when i see them, is the time that she is sleeping!

need space for two screns 15"-19"screen (havent decided. and my 22" screen has to fit on at angle so i can tilt it to squeeze a second screen. or event a shop that sells custom made table would be good

I am looking for an adjustable platform that will allow me to optionally stand or sit at my desk. I have seen where there are whole desks that are vertically adjustable and the small stands on wheels as well. However, my office desk is fixed and I am not able to replace it. What I am hoping to find is a vertically adjustable platform that will sit on my current desk, hold my two monitors, and hopefully be able to attach my mouse and keyboard.

My computer desk has collected a few scratches and small dings. I was wanting to repair it since I am on summer break.
I’m don’t know too much about repairs/home improvement, so if you could explain it a little more, it would help.

I have about 15 small boxes of my things….currently all able to fit in my bedroom closet… a futon mattress, a small dresser, a computer desk, two night stands, and a very small "one hand can lift me" bookshelf.

What is the CHEAPEST way to get these things from Windsor, Ontario to Calgary, Alberta?
I heard something about container shipping by weight, but I cant find any companies that will service the cities i need.

I have a small, black computer desk. No drawers, only a couple of shelves. I am in desperate need of a vanity table in my apartment, as the bathroom is shared. I have a lot of makeup/hair products/tools to organize, but don’t like the idea of the desk being covered, or having stackable drawers. What is an inexpensive, yet classy way to turn this into the vanity table I’m looking for?
